Online|Offline: Press Freedom in Singapore [UPDATED]
On 24 August I participated in Online|Offline’s forum on press freedom in Singapore. Here’s part 1 of the video (the actual forum was about two hours long):
It was a pretty fun experience, although I was starving at the time (having not had time to grab dinner). Also, when we were told that the studio was cold, no one remembered that there would be great big studio lights pointing at us. It was probably good the forum ended when it did, because the combination of heat and hunger would have led to me becoming more and more incoherent as the night wore on.
I think we were able to cover quite a lot of ground for the amount of time we had, so I don’t really want to rehash anything in a blog post. Do watch the video and share your thoughts – discussions like these will always be ongoing ones, so comments are more than welcome!
