Neath Abbey, Forgotten.

Over the weekend we headed to Neath and braved the drizzle/light hail/cold to make our way to Neath Abbey. While Calum fought the old Sony Z1 to get his shots for his assignment I wandered the grounds with my camera.

Neath Abbey’s beautiful, but more or less forgotten. It’s hidden behind industrial areas: copper plants and salvage yards.

From what I’ve been told, Neath isn’t exactly a prosperous town. There are high levels of poverty, which makes it even more of a pity that the abbey hasn’t really been done up as the tourist attraction it could be. Instead, the cars zip by on the motorway, not even knowing what they’re missing out on.
