My work has been published in Al Jazeera English, The Daily Beast, The Diplomat, Yahoo! Singapore, Southeast Asia Globe and Waging Nonviolence, among others. I have written from/about countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Greece, Scotland, Cambodia, Hong Kong, etc.
I have also worked as a fixer and social media community manager for Al Jazeera English.

I worked with participants from Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, the Philippines, Burma, Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand on producing short videos for online distribution, mostly for NGO and advocacy purposes.

Data Wrangler, Lianain Films, Hong Kong (22 December 2011 – 21 February 2012)
As a data wrangler on the set of feature film Camera, it was my job to transfer all the footage from Compact Flash cards to the hard drives, back up all the rushes and manually sync audio and video.

Deputy Editor, The Online Citizen, Singapore (1 July 2011 – 31 October 2011)
I assisted the Interim Chief Editor in vetting/editing articles, as well as coordinating volunteers. I also contributed to the site in terms of articles, photographs and video, as well as being an administrator of the Facebook page.

Journalism Trainer, Effective Communications Training, Chiang Mai, Thailand (10 August 2011 – 23 August 2011)
I worked with participants from Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, the Philippines, Burma, Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand on their writing and reporting skills. We also discussed the use of social media, citizen journalism and blogging.

Production Assistant/Assistant Producer, Lianain Films, Singapore (1 March 2010 – 28 February 2012)
My duties included researching stories, handling the logistics of productions (confirming schedules, setting up interviews, etc.), helping out on both local and overseas shoots, digitising and transcribing footage, assembly editing, sound mixing and handling administrative matters such as deliverables and accounts. I also helped to supervise interns.

A youth-led campaign against capital punishment in Singapore, we research and tell the stories of death row inmates. We also organise events and forums to try to encourage more discussion of the death penalty in Singapore.

We are trying to support the work you do and are highlighting the case of Yong Vui Kong and the many others who face the death penalty acrss Asia and the Pacific through the work we do and the release of our two ADPAN unfair trial reports last December.
